The entire White Denim site is going through a major
facelift right now, expect it to be up and running in
the next couple weeks. Looking sweet! So yeah, don't
expect any small updates or tweaking on this one. The
Barnacled record is so close I can taste it, I'll definitely
keep you informed!

A small book of poetry that I wrote is available now
for sale, in a modest edition of ten copies. It will
be in the store soon with an equally modest price. Not
what you're expecting from White Denim! It's called
Carried, and it's cool.

Apparently, the Barnacled single will be out before
Halloween! Pretty stoked if this is the case. As always,

The first pressing of 'Our Gimmick Is Wrestling' is
finally out of print! It only took about two years to
get rid of 200 copies, not bad right? Check distros
and eBay for copies, or get the repressing still
available from Doppelganger.

The Barnacled single will be out real soon, seriously!
I can't believe how smoothly things are going with
this record, considering how tight the packaging is.
I'm really excited for it!

I gave the catalog a facelift, along with some new
hot stuff to purchase. The non-musical distro items
will be added this week.

The Giants just lost miserably, and I'm bummed. I
blame Matt Bryant's hamstring. So it goes!

Your days are hectic! If I went to a fortune teller,
that's what I'd hear. It's true! But good. Learning
lots, listening to records, chilling out, thinking,
all stuff that needs to be done by humans.

I had a blast with Air Conditioning last weekend!
They played two of the best sets I've ever witnessed.
It was especially fun watching the unprepared squirm
as the sonic thrust blew their ears off. Insanely
mad ups to all the DC residents, especially Matt and
Evan for the supreme hospitality. Speaking of Matt, he
won a White Denim gift package via the crossword
puzzle. Did you???

The Barnacled record is being pressed as I struggle
through my File Management class. So psyched for that,
a Halloween release date is possible but wishful. An
MP3 off the record is available on the record's page,

Nice Nice are playing at Jeff the Pigeon on October
25th! I feel like I will be meeting my long lost bros
at this show, and it's probably true. Mom, bring a
camera! The Lotus and Japanese Karaoke Afterlife
Experiment are also playing this show. Warm like a bed!

Air Conditioning LP is available now! It's already
available for ordering in the catalog, and those
who have preordered it should expect it in their
mailboxes very soon. This is a great record!

In order to celebrate, Air Conditioning are playing
a bunch of shows in the future. Next Wednesday, the
17th, they are playing at Jeff the Pigeon with Friends
Forever and Human Host! Both groups are phenomenal.
The following weekend, Air Conditioning are heading
South, and I'm tagging along for the ride! Saturday,
September 20th takes us to Eternal Life (Evan's house)
in Washington DC. Et At It and Japanther are playing
this show as well, and I'm especially excited to see
Et At It. The next night, the 21st, Air Conditioning
are wisking me off to Reading, PA, where they are
playing with Hot Cross, Lickgoldensky, and the Sick
Lipstick. I will be headbanging, audiotaping, dancing
and selling stuff this weekend, so come shake my hand
and say "peace be with you" to me.

In other live news, Jeff the Pigeon is hosting
Panicsville this Saturday! I'm so excited for this
show, and not just because Stewart Brodian, Satanic
Mechanisms, Fuck With the Bull Get the Horns, and
Hepatitis Youth are playing, but because I haven't
been there in a while and it'll be fun making music
on giant cardboard tubes and filing cabinets.

In other live news, Nice Nice are touring in October!
They will definitely be coming to Allentown, will
they be coming to your town? I'll let you know soon!

Lastly, the Barnacled 7" is in the pressing process
right now, expect to drop before Halloween so long
as all goes as planned. I'll post an mp3 of their
material for it soon. It's too bad there's already
a group called Big Mountain, because that name fits
their massive sound perfectly.

Fall semester begins in less than a week! No idea
how the summer flew by, but it wasn't without it's
moments of total clarity, freedom and excitement.
Less than a week ago I was listening to Suicidal
blast out of the speakers at Rob Zombie's bar in
Hollywood! Obviously, the Gatecrashers tour was
a total success and worth every minute, fart and
In and Out Burger. Thanks especially to Out of Vogue
for being so hospitable and not minding our untamed
selves.

As for White Denim, always good stuff brewing! The
long-awaited Air Conditioning LP is being pressed
right now, and will be available before the end of
August. It will be available to order in the next
week, so don't slack! Even sooner will be the Air
Conditioning / Carpenter Ant split 7"s, I hope to
have some of them in the catalog soon. Two of my
favorite bands that I can visit within a short car
ride.

Barnacled have recorded for their single, things
will be moving with this sure-to-be classic in the
next few weeks / months. More info to follow, except
that it will undoubtedly put hands in the air and
sweat in the pits.

Confirmed for White Denim in the distant future is
a single by Menstruation Sisters, an incredible group
from Australia. Think an acoustic Masonna or Hair
Police using buckets and practice amps. Incredible
stuff. Also in the works for a fall release is a
short book of poetry written by yours truly. I can
tell you already, it's not what you're expecting!

Air Conditioning LP will be out in about 10 days! Yes!

Air Conditioning LP test pressings are in! This record
will be dropping soon, ripping up more roads than the
construction that plagues my daily commute. Speaking
of Air Conditioning, they've got a lot in the works! A
split 7" with local hospital/jail rockers Carpenter Ant
will be out shortly as a combined effort from Peel Back
the Sky and Torn Tendons, respectively. I hope to get
a bunch for the distro! And finally, Air Conditioning
will be performing on the Idiot Control radio show
on WPRB Princeton, from 10:00 PM to 1:00 AM on
Saturday, August 2nd. Stay in, skip the boring SNL rerun
and mosh with the lights off!

In general White Denim news, our distribution is slowly
growing larger and more expansive across the globe. I'm
tossing around the thought of a links page, for those
interested in finding White Denim product in a variety
of top notch sources.

Always good things brewing! And just to tickle your tongue,
we have two words for late 2003: Menstruation Sisters!

Show update! Live music rules, and there's a decent
share of some awesome shows in the next few weeks.

On July 15th, Jeff the Pigeon hosts Neon Hunk, Lullatone,
Greg Davis, and E*Rock! E* was gracious enough to
design the artwork for 'Closet Full of Clothes', I'm really
psyched to witness his exciting brand of electronic
art live and in person!

Also, Barnacled are embarking on a few East Coast dates,
and they are looking pretty hot. On July 19th, they will
be performing at Dumba in Brooklyn, along with the SB,
Insect Deli, Wikkid, and Tatsuya Nakatani & Ben Armstrong
of the Psychic Paramount. Take the F train to York Street,
or so I've been told. Barnacled are also performing at
the Tritone in Philadelphia on the 21st, and are looking
for a Baltimore show on the 20th. I'll post more info
when I have it.

Also, the Air Conditioning / the GTC show in Florida
was cancelled, for reasons unclear to me. Sucks, but
that can sometimes be the unfortunate way of punk rock.

I just shaved off my beard, I feel like a 5 year old
boy again. I'm going to Cleveland next weekend!

Pearls and Brass had a cute little writeup in the local
paper, by none other than Brother JT himself. Not sure
why he gabbed on and on about metal, though. Check it

Also, check out this sick show, overflowing with White
Denim pride, happening in Florida on our great nation's
birthday! Air Conditioning, the GTC, Plants and Animals,
Yukhonic and a few more. What a treat for all our of
Floridian friends who are busy fending off alligators

For the locals, Air Conditioning are performing this
Friday night at the Bassmint in Reading. Also playing
are Bright Calm Blue, and they are supposed to be a
band that plays well. I always dug their name. If you

Just as I prophecized mere days ago, 'Closet Full of
Clothes' is available now! I am so incredibly delighted
with how this record shaped up, from the vinyl color
to the last gurgle of noise on the Mammal track. I'm
for real when I say I don't feel worthy to be working
with such an intense, awesome group of artists. Babyish
banter aside, this record is incredible! So glad it's
finally done. Feel free to order it from the Catalog
page, grab it from any of the artists, or watch for it
in your favorite distros.

Speaking of 'Closet Full of Clothes', Pearls and Brass
recorded one of the best contemporary blues albums in
the past decade over the last few months. When this
drops, people are going to be changing their pants for
at least three different reasons. Incredible.

Air Conditioning LP will be out sooner than you'd think!
I'm bumping the Air Conditioning alert from Code Yellow
to Code Orange, for real. Did you hear that MP3 yet??

I ate at the Queen City Diner tonight, it was seriously
some of the best diner food I've ever eaten. If the
Queen City Diner was a band, I'd ask them to do a
record without a second thought, for real.

'Closet Full of Clothes' will without a doubt be done
before the end of June. The wait is making me barf, but
it will all be worth it. You need to hear this record!

The Air Conditioning LP is being pressed, expect that
to see the light of day sometime in July. It's hard
to believe such a brutal record was created by a trio
and not an aircraft carrier covered in gargoyles.

White Denim #6 is now confirmed! It is going to be a
7" release by Barnacled, an incredible group from
Providence, RI. You can check them out (and go buy
their recently released compact disc) at Corleone
Records. Expect this out sometime towards the end
of Summer, when I'm nice and tanned and have hit
the waves multiple times.

Three records on deck! This is crazy. Now I'm going
to enjoy the rest of my Sunday evening by watching
Law and Order and taking care of my eye (Friday
night I got punched in the face by a 40 year old dude).

Some news, some sad. It can't all be gravy, you know?

'Closet Full of Clothes' is still not out, and it's pretty
annoying. Some problems with artwork specs, but nothing
major, should be sorted out before the week's end and
in our hands in about 10 days after that. Worth the wait,
trust me on this one!

As for the Air Conditioning LP, the reference lacquer
came in, but the first side isn't mastered to perfection.
It's getting sorted out now, this record will seriously
blow the hinges off your screen door. Listen to that
sample mp3 again!

In nicer news, the Ultimate Warriors LP has been put into
it's second pressing care of Doppelganger Records. Nice
full color covers (with a grossout slideshow on the
back!), at least ten different colors of vinyl, and an
insert that isn't as likely to make you spit out your
soup. I might have some in the catalog in the near
future, who knows, but I DO still have a handful of
first pressing copies left. Strike before this lovingly
crafted first press is gone for good!

And finally, don't forget about the Gatecrashers show
on Thursday. The Wind-up Bird were added to the bill,
it should be an odd but fufilling show.

The 'Closet Full of Clothes' test pressings have arrived
and are sounding hot. This record will definitely be out
before June! So psyched to have this finally hit the
streets.

I recently formed a new group with my friend Larry, the
band is called No To Everything. We recorded two songs
this afternoon, I'm really psyched on it! I'm wishfully
thinking about getting an MP3 on here, but there will
at least be a cassette available sometime in the near
future. Maybe even a show, if things go well!

The ascension of Jesus Christ has nothing on White
Denim when it comes to excitement! Lots brewing here,
and none of it has big rocks blocking the entrance!

Firstly, I am incredibly glad to announce that White
Denim #5 will be a full-length LP by my good friends
Air Conditioning! This is going to be a fairly limited
and largely thick record. So stoked to be a part of
this! It will be a co-release between White Denim,
Peel Back the Sky and the band themselves. More info
will be provided on them shortly. Think Universal
Indians if they only listened to Neanderthal and
Harry Pussy records.

Secondly, I am taking pre-orders for the 'Closet Full
of Clothes' compilation now, if anyone has an itch
that can only be scratched with a pre-order. It's
totally unnecessary, but the option is there.

And thirdly, I got in some copies of the Ultimate
Warriors live and early demos CD-R on LV Archives,
a pretty fun listen considering I was 14 years old
on some of the material. Fueled by Rosenberger's Iced
Tea and my brown Skidz shorts with a pink Violent
Society patch on the back! Speaking of the Ultimate
Warriors, a 7" featuring all unreleased material (and
the infamous Easton Fest live set) will be in the
catalog soon, it's already out in Germany though.

Alright, time to finish reading the new issue of Wax
Poetics and call it a night. Plant a garden!

A few points of note:

Monday's show has a slight alteration. Di(c)k 606 is
no longer on the bill, but is being replaced by Rhode
Island's own Mindflayer! The boys over at Jeff the
Pigeon are supposedly painting the bathroom lavender
in recognition of Mindflayer's addition, should be
a memorable night.

'Closet Full of Clothes' is still completely (and
eerily) on schedule. Expect nothing but the best
from all the featured artists, as well as the fanciest
vinyl Europe has to offer. So excited about this!

White Denim #5 is in the mental oven right now, will
probably be able to spill the beans in a few weeks.
You know what to expect, another vinyl-only release
that dances the line between awesome and radical!

accidentally went through their street clothes because

A new band I'm in just released our demo! We're called
Unrequited Hardon, and our sound takes early Flipper and
Fang's 'Landshark' album and throws it into a boiling
pot of white heterosexual teenage angst. 4 songs at
over 11 minutes, it focuses on the lack of female
company and the shame of frequent masturbation. It's a
cassette only release, and available for $3 postage
paid, cash or money order to the address above, or

May 9th, more info will be provided soon!

It's ridiculous how quickly the months have been flying
by lately, but that's a good thing. I can almost taste
the hot summer sun, diving boards and late night pickup
basketball games! Anyway, here are some upcoming live

This Sunday, March 30th, the Gatecrashers are playing
at Fort Awesome in Philadelphia, PA. It starts at 3:00,
other performing bands include Bones Brigade, the Deadly,

On April 14th, a Monday, I am doing a show at the newly
inducted Jeff the Pigeon's, on the corner of 4th and

on the 'Closet Full of Clothes' compilation!) and head-
lined by 25 Suaves, an incredible duo from the Motor

are proceeding at a healthy and speedy rate with WD-04.
Fingers crossed, it will be finished in early May! Also,

in the past few days, you probably experienced some
sort of difficulty, as I've changed servers and had
to do some upgrading here and there. Bigger and better
things, folks!

'Closet Full of Clothes' is coming along quite smoothly,
you can check out the artwork for the cover here, as
brainstormed and put to canvas by E*rock of Audio Dregs
fame.

The GTC are back 'atcha! They recently recorded for a
fairly limited split 7" with We're Called Control on
Cephia's Treat from Florida. Looking forward to it!
Speaking of the GTC, I have less than 100 copies of
their single, so if you were hemming and hawwing over
purchasing a copy, get on it! Same goes with the
Ultimate Warriors Lp, we're talking around 30 copies,
meanwhile they are going for $12.50 on eBay! The
second pressing of this monumentally unheard record
will be out on Doppleganger, a new label featuring
my two favorite bald, goateed guys I know.

In 'Closet Full of Clothes' news, all the bands are
either recording or have recorded, and the art is
looking great! Expect that to be on time, finished
and in your sweaty palms by April. All the groups
contributing are out elevating minds all over, to
write about each would cause this HTML page to
overload on radness. Investigate them for yourself!
